Choosing to live according to His Word; believing I am who He says I am, I will LIVE LOVED; purposefully, confidently, and set apart; knowing that because of His love, His Way is the path to fullness of joy.
I will GIVE LOVE from the overflow of His love; choosing to lavish this Holy Love upon everyone, everywhere, every day.
Our Story
The Little Black Dress Event was birthed out of an awareness of the great number of hurting women in our community. Our hope is that in caring for these women, we can impact families; in turn impacting our entire community.
Wear Love Everyday
As a WEAR LOVE” community, we aspire to live our every day lives looking for opportunities to give love away to everyone, everywhere! Whether on our own with our neighbors, friends, co-workers, enemies, or strangers OR as a group through organized efforts to care for specific needs within our community, we will be intentional to give love away daily.
Paula has a passion for bringing hope to those who are hurting, particularly women of all walks of life. Out of this passion she founded and directs the annual The Little Black Dress Event and created The Little Black Dress Magazine.
What began as a burden in my heart to share the love of God with hurting women, turned into an event that has inspired countless women over the past ten years to join in our mission to outfit themselves in God’s love as they walk their individual runways of life with joy and confidence… or as we like to say, Wear Love.
Whether you are brand new to the Wear Love Community or have been with us for years, my prayer is that you know the steadfast love of Jesus for yourself. Each of our runways may look a little different based on our circumstances, or past choices, but no matter what you look like, no matter what you have been through, no matter what you have done, God loves YOU! In fact, He loves you so much that He wants more for you than this current status of your life. He wants to enter your story, right where you are, and add hope, fullness, and purpose. It begins with accepting His perfect gift of love anew each day and wearing it for every occasion.
Allow God to meet you where you are, knowing that His love is with you, and discover ways to share that love with others. Be loved; live loved; give love; and your legacy of immeasurable value will unfold in front of you. You, my friend, were designed in love to live a life of love.

PAULA ROACH, FOUNDER
Paula and her husband have four children. They are volunteer pastors of SouthPoint Church located in Bixby, Oklahoma and business owners of John Roach Allstate Insurance Agency and Roach Realty where Paula also serves as Property Manager. Though they operate in many different roles, each is an outlet of their passion to serve people. Paula and her husband have four children.

The Little Black Dress is an annual charity event created to serve women as we provide a program filled with food, entertainment, and an inspiring message. At the event, we give away brand new black dresses to nominated women, special awards to nominated women who stand out in the community, and gifts for all women who spend the evening with us.
